Over one hundred people together to sing « One Day »
On April 23rd 2023, La Chapelle hosted a magnificent event: over 120 people from various backgrounds, generations and different cultures got together to experience an extraordinary moment… A joint musical creation aiming at celebrate hope, peace and unity in the world! With barely 90 minutes of practice under the direction of a peerless conductor, the group produced astounding results. We share it with you here below.

This short-lived choir was organized by Myriam TQ and Joey Joyful de Oser Shiner who came to La Chapelle with their whole team. We wish to emphasize their high professionalism and we thank them warmly for making this event a magic moment: Justin Bolduc Turpin (music recording, video recording and editing); Ismaël Joseph (video recording), Charles Royer-Gagnon (drums, music recording and mixing); Audrey Nobili (choir conductor), Myriam TQ (choir assistant and guitar) and Yanic Olivier (keyboard).
« One Day » the short story behind this iconic song
« One Day » is a song interpreted by the reggae signer Matisyahu released for the first time in 2008. The song was added at the last minute to Matisyahu 1 album Light. It expresses hope for an end to violence and a prayer for a new era of peace and understanding. Today, many people sing it to raise energy on earth and propagate hope, peace and world unity.
