La Chapelle, Mother Meera’s home in Canada

Since 2012, Société Mère Meera has a physical place in Quebec, La Chapelle, located in a disused church in the village of Ste-Adèle, in the beautiful Laurentian region. This ancient church is now a permanent darshan hall and a home for Mother Meera during her visits in Canada. The rest of the time, La Chapelle holds various activities contributing to the propagation of Mother Meera’s work and receives those who wish to reconnect with her. In summer 2021, the society moved its head office there.

This project carried out with Mother’s grace could not have been achieved without the generosity of the followers who have been receiving for several years, and especially without the unswerving support of several members of Société Mère Meera who have been giving their time since the beginning so that La Chapelle honors the living incarnation of the Divine Mother. Either through donations or volunteering, your contribution is always appreciated in order to improve Mother Meera’s home in Canada.

The main hall of La Chapelle and several rooms are available for rent either for a one-time event or for a short stay.

History

While touring Canada in September 2012, Mother Meera noticed a chapel for sale in Ste-Adèle QC. She literally fell in love with the place. Right away, a financing campaign was launched and, thanks to the donations of numerous devotees, the purchase was concluded in December 2012. La Chapelle St-Bernard became La Chapelle.

Activities

Among other activities, Société Mère Meera usually offers everyone weekly meditations and various meetings in key moments of the year. Because of the present pandemic, such activities are postponed. Location

Ideally located close to kilometer 33 of the “P’tit Train du Nord” hiking trail (Ste-Marguerite station), with its large parking lot and its spacious hall, La Chapelle is well-suited to accommodate large groups. The hall is easily customized for weddings, training courses, working groups or any kind of meetings and receptions. You will appreciate the proximity of the hiking trail all year round for trekking, biking or skiing.
